Just read this BBC article which is a little different from most. Just consists of 4 people's views on current events.
It wasn't really a new years resolution, but a little while ago I decided to try and broaden my reading into areas of the world that I don't really know much about, places like Africa, the Middle East, and Asia. By "broadening my view" I mean trying to find out about the events that matter to the people there, and not just those that are big enough to be reported in the western media.

Silly thing was it was in about 24 point type (about 1 - 1.5 cm high). The only reason I was able to read it was I was very slowly overtaking the car in stop start traffic.
For non .au readers, an Australian drivers license has 12 points. Traffic infringements usually result in the loss of a number of points, which you regain three years later. If you lose 12 point you lose your license.
